Market Highlights

The onsite market opens Saturday, June 13, 9am-noon! With that, some vendors may continue to offer online presales - you can order online and pick up directly from your farmer or producer on Saturday mornings.  Farmers and producers will also be selling produce and products onsite and you can purchase directly from your producer at the market. For items ordered from vendors not selling directly at the market, pick up will be under the red tent.  

Bring the family to the market to hear favorite tunes from The Kenzie Kincaid Band 10a-11:30a as you shop,  VA Farm Bureau board member John M. will present the Henrico Farm Bureau Scholarship awards to high school senior recipients at 10:30 and this is your chance to say hi to your neighbors - all done social distancing style! DPFM farmers are hard at work growing and harvesting some of your favorites this week......Cornerstone Community Farm has greens, kale, collards, cut flowers and more.  Meadow Acre Gardens is harvesting peas, beets, carrots, sunflower shoots, greens, salad mix, kale, chard and more.  At Old Tavern Farm zucchini has been added to its long list of produce - yellow squash, patty pan squash, Napa cabbage, lettuce, spinach and a variety of other produce. 

Wild Earth Fermentation has debuted a new kraut! Look for its Radish Tumeric Sauerkraut which features local radishes, tumeric and black sesame seeds.  It's delicious and great served with veggie rice bowls, sushi or as a salad booster!
